For over 10 years, I have been able to lend my talents as a musician for one of the largest fundraisers in the area, the Taste of Lee’s Summit.

Taste of Lee’s Summit (TOLS) features live and silent auction items, raffles, games, and food from many of Lee’s Summit’s best restaurants. Each year, TOLS raises thousands of dollars for the Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation.

The Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation uses the money they raise to support students and teachers throughout the LS R-7 school district.

The band for TOLS, made up primarily of LS R-7 educators, volunteers their time and talents to provide entertainment during the event. We’ve been known to play a standard jazz set, but this year the music leaned more towards the pop/rock as we welcomed guest vocalist Kim Ketteman, with husband Matt Ketteman on guitar/vocals, David Tourtellot on bass, and Brandon Johnson on drums.
