This piece was written for the Lee’s Summit Jazz Orchestra‘s performance at the 88th Annual MMEA In-Service Workshop/Conference, January 29th, 2026.

It features a flugelhorn soloist, and each trumpet part calls for flugelhorn as well. The piano part is a mixture of written music and chord changes, but the bulk of the rhythm parts aren’t written out.
